Phoenix Productions ATL is proud to announce a new project that is very near and dear to our hearts. Some of you may not know what we are a husband and wife team – our business was birthed from a dream that we both shared and still share and are still chasing after. But there is also another dream that we also shared… The dream to become parents. Especially after experiencing profound loss.
Throughout our marriage and our journey to become parents we have experienced the incredible joy of pregnancy three times. However, only the third pregnancy resulted in a live birth and healthy baby.
1 in 4 couples experience pregnancy or infant loss. That is a statistic that absolutely breaks our hearts because we wouldn’t wish this burden – this pain – that we carry on even our greatest enemy. We know firsthand how it feels to have the dreams that you had for your child suddenly ripped from your hands. And that is why this project is so important to us. We have been praying for years about a way to be a blessing to women and couples who have suffered through the loss of a child.
And then we saw similar rainbow baby projects offered by both Little Love Photography and Ashley Jo Photography, and we knew that we wanted to start our own Rainbow Baby Project here in Atlanta. To offer love and hope to those that have welcomed and those that still yearn to welcome their rainbow babies.
One pregnancy announcement, maternity, OR newborn session will be gifted per month to eligible families. Newborn sessions will be need to be within 4 weeks after baby’s arrival, and we prefer to schedule maternity sessions between weeks 28 and 36 of pregnancy so please fill out the form ASAP. We will pencil the due date onto the calendar. Please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, the earlier the better! We also accept nominations/applications from friends and family members. The newborn sessions will take place in your home, so you and baby are most comfortable. We will bring our equipment, set up, and props to you (*If you have concerns about COVID and would prefer to have your newborn session outdoors, that is definitely okay with us!). The session will have a lifestyle feel as well as a studio aspect. The maternity and pregnancy announcement sessions will take place at one of our approved locations ( view that list here ) or can also take place in your home as well.
The ‘Rainbow Baby’ package includes:
– 60-90 minute pregnancy announcement, maternity, OR newborn session
– Rainbow themed props
– 5 high quality digital images
– Half off ONE year/cake smash session (optional)
Additional heirloom quality prints, canvases, wall art and digital images can be purchased for 10% off regular price. Purchases are not mandatory to qualify for the Rainbow Baby Project Giveaway and there will be no hard sell or pressure to purchase.
