About us

Welcome to Phoenix Productions ATL! We are a husband and wife photography team servicing metropolitan Atlanta – mostly Gwinnett and Dekalb counties. You can book us for a Newborn Photoshoot, Maternity Photoshoot, Cake Smash/Children’s Photoshoot, or a Family Photoshoot.

Our names are Darrell and Ariel Hester. We are High School Sweethearts turned life and business partners. We are the proud parents of our beautiful baby daughter! We have a passion for helping people capture moments and turn them into memories. However, we will always be parents first. We consider ourselves “Mom-Tog” and “Dad-Tog” and our little Baby-Tog-in-Training!

Our journey to parenthood was long, difficult, and at times very painful. But that struggle has only made us more passionate about cherishing and capturing moments while you have the opportunity to do so. Moments pass so quickly; and while we can’t quite live in them forever, we CAN capture them and turn them into lifelong memories.

We have been photographing families and babies since long before we had the opportunity to start our own. We have had over 5 years of training and practice in our field. While we love photographing outdoors at several different locations throughout Gwinnett County and Atlanta, we also love spending time doing studio sessions as well!

When we’re not on location or in the studio, you can often find us traveling, watching movies, or exploring the city! We love to laugh, and eat, and just have a good time together. One of our favorite things to do is to walk the beltline – with yummy lemonades or Frappuccinos of course!

We try our best to make our clients feel comfortable and beautiful while we capture images for them. We believe that you look your best when you feel your best! And we are so excited to get to know each of our clients and capture images for them that they love!
